  25. True, this method certainly will fail if even one bit is corrupted.
  26. But I've used the hex-file procedure on many different platforms (VMS,
  27. Unix, MSDOS, CP/M, RT-11) and I've never had a single problem.  Of course,
  28. I don't try to get greedy and use the highest serial speed possible, nor
  29. do I try doing this over anything except a short, direct connection.
